About Molly

 

I am a Board-Certified Advocate in Special Education through the National Association of Special Education Teachers, dedicated to helping students in need of special education services receive the education and support that they deserve.

​

Over the last 18 years, I have worked in a variety of mental/behavioral health and special education roles including as a full-time developmental home care provider, respite care provider, paraprofessional, tutor, and have completed 38 graduate level credits toward a master's in special education. These experiences have taught me essential skills to advocate for your child, their needs, and you.

I chose to become a Special Education Advocate because I am passionate about students having access to the right tools and supports, the ones that truly make a difference in your child's access to a free and appropriate education. I specialize in Autism, ADHD, Emotional, Developmental, and Intellectual disabilities.

I am continually seeking out opportunities to further my own education, to stay on top of the ever-changing law, and to research on best practices in the field.

​

When I'm not helping families through the process, furthering my own education, or self-advocating, I have been able to put many of my teaching skills to work as a horseback riding instructor where I often work with students with disabilities.
